Our Mission
Christian Women's Job Corps of Greater Baytown, exists to minister to women in need with a hand up, not a hand out. Women are provided life skills, job skills training, mentoring and Bible study in an encouraging environment to move toward independence.
Statement of Faith
We believe in the Trinity, God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the Bible as the Word of God. Salvation comes through grace by believing in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, our Savior and Lord. Once saved, the Holy Spirit indwells, thereby instructing, guiding, and empowering the individual to follow the mandate of Jesus Christ in daily living. Christian Women's Job Corps, is a response to this mandate.

History of CWJC of Greater Baytown
The first semester began in March 2004 and was housed at Eastside/Fellowship Church. In July 2006, Memorial Baptist Church invited the center to move to one of their facilities located at 206 N. Whiting which provided more space for the growing ministry.
In 2007, CWJC received an award to begin a long-term transitional housing ministry from Perpetual Help Home in Victoria, Texas. A home was leased in December 2007 to begin this vital need for area women.
